"Fame and fortune are fleeting, but real faithfulness, making a difference in a person's life, lasts for eternity." -Tiffany Lee
Mother Teresa once said, “I have not been called to the poor; I have been called to love and worship God. It just happens I find Him among the poor.” Jesus says when we minister to the least of these, the hungry, cold, naked, and poor it is really Him we are feeding, warming, clothing, and comforting. You see that is the mystery of the gospel in being Jesus to others, we find Jesus ourselves. Having heard the story of the Good Samaritan, remembering all God has done for you and having received such mercy; we can do no less that to go and do likewise. The poor exist in every community just open your eyes and look around. Simply sharing your food with the hungry is a powerful way to model God’s heart. There is knowledge to be taught, money to be given and prayers to be prayed. Each one of us has different gifts and different callings but we all must serve. “I don't know what your destiny will be, but one thing I do know: the only ones among you who will be really happy are those who have sought and found how to serve.”- Albert Schweitzer
