At some point in high school I became stuck on the
question, “What if the biggest problem in the world is a lack of
goodness?” Everybody always talked about
how bad things were getting and how people were more evil than they had ever
been. We are humans we are sinners so of
course there are tons of bad things happening just watch the news for 60
seconds and that is obvious. But what I
wanted to know why there wasn’t just as much goodness to counteract it. Everybody just talked and talked about how
bad our world has become but nobody was doing anything. I would listen to them complain and think,
“Wonder if you had road rage on the way here, how impatient did you get in the
grocery checkout line, have you
complemented or encouraged anybody recently?”
Would the bad look so bad if we had more good? If people felt loved and accepted would that
make them not want to do bad things?
What if our world just lacks goodness?
When is the last time you helped counteract the bad? Spread some goodness today!

order to be remembered… leave nothing behind but goodness.”
